Becky Michael | 44 comments We had a great discussion, this evening, about "Faithful." If you weren't able to make it, we missed you:) No regular meeting in December, but the Book Bash takes place on the 17th.

Voting for next year's books closes a week from today, on Tues., Dec. 3rd,, so make your preferences known! We'll give you the title of January's book as soon as all votes are tallied!

Have a good Thanksgiving,

Becky

The Underground Railroad – Colson Whitehead
The Line Becomes a River: Dispatches from the Border – Francisco Cantu
Homegoing – Yaa Gyasi
Girl with a Pearl Earring, The – Tracy Chevalier
Ask Again, Yes – Mary Beth Keane

Voting for ne..."

It's ok for a mature teenager to be in for the party, right? I haven't found a way to email to ask. She's in 10th grade.

Becky Michael | 44 comments Hi Rianna,

I'm sorry if you missed that message; I believe the link for voting was in the Nov. 22 meeting reminder email. We'll have to double-check to be sure your address is on the list for the library emails. We did have some other members vote through email or here, on Goodreads. I'm happy you were at the meeting, too, and helped to get the voting started. The list will be posted soon! I'm checking on your question and will get back with you.

Becky

Becky Michael | 44 comments Hi Rianna,

I'm told that the event is geared for adults but that older teens or those with their parents won't be turned away.

Thanks for asking,

Becky
