Lindsey (logikitty) | 11 comments I borrow a lot from the library, especially after I discovered what sorts of audiobooks I like to listen to! I am going to start small because I do have a lot of books on hand that I need to read (in the Mt TBR 2020 forum), so here's to the new year and me reading the instructions proper!

Library reads
Champion (Legend, #3) by Marie Lu Rebel (Legend, #4) by Marie Lu
Borrowed
Heartbreaker by De'nesha Diamond | The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Díaz | Abhorsen (Abhorsen, #3) by Garth Nix | Taltos (Vlad Taltos, #4) by Steven Brust | The Sword of Summer (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, #1) by Rick Riordan | Reading in the Brain The Science and Evolution of a Human Invention by Stanislas Dehaene

Current count: 9 / 24

Big 'ol 2 stars, would have been 1 if I didn't like Brynn and Lindsey.

Lindsey (logikitty) | 11 comments Book 2: The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

I gave this one a 4-star rating. I loved how haunting the book was and how chilly my spine was as Hawkins described (view spoiler). I enjoyed this one, but it also hurt with how much the women were at each others' throat.

3/5 for me on this one...It started out great. I was captivated by the general writing style and story. But the author didn't take it much of anywhere...I wanted more!

Also a 3/5 for me! I liked it at first, and I found the 2nd person perspective to be VERY compelling, but it dragged on way too long & Jessica could have done better.

Yes! ^_^ I decided January and early February would be my month of borrowed books! I have so many to get through!

Lindsey (logikitty) | 11 comments Book 5: The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks

2/5 stars for me :( Not compelling to me and it resembled other thriller novels I just read within the last month a little too closely. I don't know if I will be reading from this pairing again!
