2- What's your preferred book format (paperback, hardcover, etc.) and why: I like paperbacks, they just seem nicer than hardcovers, which I always somehow think are like strict librarians who don't want you to have much fun. I like ebooks, occasionally, but I usually only read them when I am traveling, not normally.
3-What was your favorite book as a kid: From the Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, by E.L. Konigsburg; Voyage of the Dawn Treader, by C.S. Lewis, The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, and The Anne Series by L.M. Montgomery.
4-What are your favorite genres: Fantasy, sci/fy, biographies, Christian living
5-What was the strangest book you ever read? What made it strange? Probably either Left Hand of Darkness (Urselea Le Guin), The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collines) or Divergent (Veronica Roth). Left hand of Darkness was recommended to me over and over again, but when I read it, it was boring with shades of desperation thrown in. HG and Divergent I read pretty much at the same time, within about 2 weeks of each other, and I felt so much deja vu that I couldn't go on with the series on either one, and I didn't care for the topic with those either.
6-What is the ONE book you recommend the most: Probably Pride and Prejudice or The Night Circus. Both of those are fantastic reads with well thought out characters and plots. And I like telling people that if they have never read Austen they haven't lived.

Neil Gaiman | Marie Lu | Matthew Quick | Rick Riordan | Cassandra Clare | Sarah J. Maas | Robyn Schnieder | Jennifer Mattieus | Amy Zhang
2. What's your preferred book format (hardcover, ebook, etc.) and why?
I prefer reading either hardcover or eBooks. Paperbacks are too flimsy and get damaged way to easily
3. What was your favorite book as a kid?
The Mysterious Benedict Society
4. What are your favorite genres?
Young Adult Contemporary, High Fantasy, Science Fiction
5. What's the strangest book you've ever read? What made it strange?
Hyperbole and a Half: Allie Brosh because of the unusual format I haven't previously dipped my feet into
6. What is the ONE book you recommend the most?
Legend by Marie Lu because that is the holy grail of Young Adult Dystopian literature (excluding Divergent/Hunger Games)
