Even though Glenn was convicted of the murders, there still was a stigma attached to the victims because they were exotic dancers. At one point, they were characterized unfairly and inaccurately as prostitutes. Was justice different for them despite the mindset? Is this phenomenon getting any better?

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think justice was done for them, but I think that that final impression of them is unfair. They will always be known as "the prostitutes that were killed". This is definitely not getting any better. Serial killers are still targeting them because their cases get pushed aside and sometimes forgotten about. Especially since many girls in this field have no family.

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments Yes, justice was ultimately done for them. But, there still is a stigma against these women. What does it matter if someone is a homemaker, stripper or prostitute? They were still murdered and law enforcement needs to spend the time and resources necessary to find a killer.

Well said, Melissa & Karen! Even though they convicted Glenn for their murders, the women were still marginalized before, during and after his conviction. It’s ironic that the one woman he didn’t kill was the one that got him convicted. But, she wasn’t an exotic dancer.

Makes me wish Eve Dallas and Roarke were on these cases!
