Disappointing that there are only eight.

Dana (oddodddodo) | 42 comments Hi Betsy,

It looks as if you miscounted, perhaps? I see twelve books at that link. If you don't mind friend-promotion, a book written by my friend Christie Aschwanden, called "Good to Go," is one of them.

Also, you and the members of the group might be interested in the best-of-2019 list selected by NPR's Science Friday program, which seems to be independent of the Book Concierge list that you linked to. I think that they will probably announce their top book selections tomorrow.

If you don't mind a little self-promotion, last year my book (co-authored with Judea Pearl) called "The Book of Why" made it onto Science Friday's Top Books of 2018 list. So naturally I have a soft spot in my heart for that one.

This year's selections: Check out the Science Friday website tomorrow! (Or at latest, a week from tomorrow.)

I second SciFri’s annual book list. I always find at least one book I really enjoy.

They also have a #scifribookclub that might have a few gems as well.

Navi (nvsahota) | 6 comments I enjoy following the NPR best books list every year. I only read The Collected Schizophrenias: Essays from their science list. Highly recommend it!
