We're less than a month from 2020! What was the best book you read in the challenge this year? Are you planning to try next year's challenge?

I think my favorite book from the challenge this year was The Indifferent Stars Above: The Harrowing Saga of a Donner Party Bride, which I read for one of the books about history slots. It was so well written and just fascinating, even though it was a difficult and sad book.

I'm definitely in for next year's challenge (which was posted on Challies' blog today!).

Rebecca Ray My favorite book from this year's challenge is that I read Millard Erickson's Christian Theology, which is a big monster book I read for one of the theology slots. I also really loved Life Together: The Classic Exploration of Christian Community which was a book by an author I have always meant to read, but never have.

I'm definitely in for next year's challenge, and my goal is to actually keep my list up-to-date-next year :-)

Wow, Rebecca, tackling Erickson's book must have been quite the challenge! I've always wanted to read Life Together: The Classic Exploration of Christian Community too, maybe next year it will end up on my list. :)

Such a great series! I read Spurgeon on the Christian Life: Alive in Christ this year.
