Stefan LeBlanc (stefanleblanc) | 14 comments Page number for the following is off quite a bit:
ISBN: 1416584080 (ISBN13: 9781416584087)

Should be 367 pages

Here's the Amazon.com with the same ISBN
https://www.amazon.com/Just-After-Sun...

Sandra | 31401 comments Stefan, do you have that edition?

Worldcat has 539 pages, and we much prefer worldcat over amazon, as worldcat is inputted by real life librarians.

Worldcat lists 14 stories. ETA: Amazon mentions 13 stories.

Stefan LeBlanc (stefanleblanc) | 14 comments I have the edition, I scanned it into the app when I first added it to my reading and only noticed the difference in page numbers tonight.

It has 13 stories listed not counting the Introduction and "Sunset Notes". (Edit: the 14th story on WorldCat seems to be "Sunset Notes" so it has the same number of stories)

It's also a used book so I also double checked the ISBN numbers in case somehow the dust jacking didn't actually belong to this edition, but they match the ones listed within the book itself and also have "First Scribner Hardcover Edition November 2008" printed on the same page.

I can take pics if that helps.

Stefan LeBlanc (stefanleblanc) | 14 comments Here's the copyright page with the ISBN numbers and copyright date.... and here's the contents page that shows the last entry (Sunset Notes) starts on page 361 (it's last page is on 367). It's clearly the first edition hardcover and there's no way there's over 500 pages.

WorldCat has the wrong number of pages and even the wrong number of stories, it's counting "Sunset Notes" as a story and it's the Author's Notes.

Stefan LeBlanc (stefanleblanc) | 14 comments Ok so what happens when the real life librarians at WordCat make a mistake?

Looking into it further it becomes obvious that the page # on WordCat comes from a paperback edition of the novel and not the Hardcover.
