Goldacre is fantastic. I was introduced to his work when we read Bad Science in this group. Always wanted to read Chaos too.I will nominate The Accidental Universe: The World You Thought You Knew Found this on the Guardian's best science books of 2014 list.

Apologies for not getting a message in here saying that the poll was up. Everyone after 12th December, I think, was to late for the poll, which only featured Chaos and the new book by Goldacre. Been exams and Christmas at parents, so less available computer.
We will be reading:
Chaos: The Making of a New Science

Change of rules: Suggesting a book we have read is discouraged and I'll decide whether it will be in the poll at all, the longer ago we read it and the fewer suggestions there are the more likely it will be allowed.
- Books must be nonfiction, within our general theme.
- Nominations are open until 7th.
- Please add suggestions using add book/author.
- No more than 3 book suggestions pr. person.
- All recommendations will be featured in a subsequent poll. Done by 14th.
- Feel free to pitch, especially in the comments at the poll.
(Dates are uncertain, but what we'll aim for)
