Last year, I used the GR lists and hit most of the H and N nominees that way. They are here:
here's the novels: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
and novellas:
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
There don't seem to be as many people voting on the lists this year as there were last year, though.

These lists both good and bad - good in that they most likely will include all nominees but bad that the lists are very long - e.g. novels have 86 books. If you look at top10 of 2018 5 out of 10 (50%) were nominated but I'm afraid the stats improved AFTER the lists were announced and as of end-2018 only 2-4 were in top10
With your comment in message 6, Z, are you referring to the Goodreads lists? I assume so?
It makes sense that the lists will change after nominations, but I used the 2018 publications/eligible 2019 in Dec Jan and Feb of last year and, as you may remember, I had read all the nominees except The Poppy War (which I couldn't get from the library) before we voted. So GR lists worked pretty well.
Also, I think I forecast the winners better that everyone else . . . :-)
I will go have a look at the lists you like.
Next year we have to start reading EARLIER!

Yes, to them
And we (at least me to be precise) used more than one list when selecting books to read (I heavily used Locus magazine list from February 1st). GR has to much YA in tops of the lists I guess

Thanks for the link to the GR lists. I didn't know they exist. There's a lot on them, indeed. But it's a good overview.
