The 52 Book Club: 2025 Challenge discussion

I love books written by journalists -- they usually end up on my favourites list. Who are some of your favourite journalists or bloggers with published books?

(Also, remember that they don't have to be a current blogger or journalist. They could have started out in that career and transferred to full time writing -- like Michael Connelley, just as an example.)

Who else can you think of? What book are you reading?

In researching this category, I learned that Carrie Ryan (Forest of Hands and Teeth) either has a blog or has written for a blog.
Or, I may see what journalist has something out next year.

I am looking forward to Anne Bogel’s new book coming out in March. I love her Modern Mrs Darcy, What Should I Read Next blog and podcast. The book is called Don’t Overthink It.

I'm going to read She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement. I heard the two authors on a podcast talking about some of the crazy things about their investigation and I thought it would be fun to see all the things that led up to their article.

I just finished the audioversion of Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators
I highly recommend the audio, as there is a recording that has been included of HW incriminating himself. It's quite a disturbing collection of mass cover ups throughout Hollywood.

I am going to read Fire and Fury

I just finished Only Dead on the Inside by James Breakwell for this category. it was a quick read and pretty funny. 3/52

I read the true crime/non-fiction book “American Predator: The Hunt For the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century”... an excellent read if you like true crime!

Hungry Heart: Adventures in Life, Love, and Writing by Jennifer Weiner. A fun memoir with some heavier moments.
