Hello all!!!

After a quick search of lesser known things that are celebrated in January, I have discovered that Sherlock Holmes' birthday is actually January 6th. (Interesting side note* The year is apparently a hotly contested topic among Sherlockians but, according to the legends the character was born in either 1853 or 1854.*)
I thought this would make a fun theme to kick off the new year with! Suggest anything with a mystery. It can absolutely be a Sherlock book or it can be a murder mystery, true crime, or a fun mystery that does not involve any serious crime. I love a good mystery so I can't wait to see what everyone suggests!!

How about the detective stories by Edgar Allan Poe, such as The Purloined Letter, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, or The Mystery of Marie Rogêt ? Not sure if these are what you're looking for, since they're short stories and not novels.
