I read Space Invaders by Nona Fernandez. A novella that takes place in Pinochet-controlled Chile.

I’m going to be reading Woven in Moonlight - takes place in Bolivia

I read, and loved, The Queen of Water by Laura Resau & Maria Virginia Farinango. Heavily based on a true story & full of so much hope.

Nikki, it was between The Queen of Water and Fruit of the Drunken Tree for me. I ended up reading Fruit of the Drunken Tree. I liked it. I will have to read The Queen of Water as well.
