The Book Vipers discussion

Haven't given this much thought yet so will add to this as I think of them.

I plan to read some Kurt Vonnegut this year.

I also plan to read more books by Kerouac, Bukowski, Burroughs and Hubert Selby Jr.

Sounds impressive to me. :) I've read one of Vonnegut's but none of the others.

This year I read a few books by Kerouac, Bukowski and Hunter S Thompson whilst in the garden drinking beer, hoping for another nice summer this year to do a repeat.

Not gone too well so far, managed one Vonnegut so far.

Kurt Vonnegut, Kerouac and hunter s Thompson books have been read and I have started a Hubert Selby jr book.

Are you enjoying them? Any recommendations?

Yes. Vonnegut was fantastic, read slaughter house five. If you've never read Bukowski then try Post Office also Hunter S Thompson is fun. I read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Other American Stories worth reading if you haven't before.
