An Inventory of Losses
Pub date: 20 June. (Unfortunetaly, the author is called 'Schlansky' instead of Schalansky when you open the link to the English edition. Oh well... See post below by Maven: it's been corrected: thank you!)

I corrected the author's name and merged the book with the German version, so the editions are connected now. :)

This was also previously released as Homecoming by Granta Books in July 2019.

Surprisingly most of those I listed for 2Q 2020 were published as planned! Judith Schalansky’s latest has been pushed back until 20.8.20 though.
The big news for 3Q 2020 is the launch of a new publishing imprint. V&Q Books, part of Voland & Quist Verlag, which will be dedicated to publishing work created in Germany (regardless of original language) The first 3 books, all translated from German, will be published on 07.09.2020. None are currently listed on Goodreads, but they are:
Daughters - Lucy Fricke
Paula - Sandra Hoffmann
Journey through A Tragi-Comic Century - Francis Nenik
More details at: https://www.vq-books.eu/
Other publications this quarter:

The Pushkin Press edition is the same translation, yes.

Do it!
I should clarify: the terms of the restraining order are no more than 3 purchases per month ... so I do have a little wriggle room. 😉

Looking forward to this. Publisher is organising a blog tour, and I am participating.

That’s what I keep telling hubby. I am not alone!

Good spot! Something to look forward to.
