Welcome to Christian Fiction Devourers!

One of my favourite things to do is read while drinking English tea. I am so thankful to be a part of this group!

I'm Randall. I'm an author and game designer, but more importantly a follower of Jesus Christ. I look forward to meeting you here and seeing what everyone is up to.
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Blessings,

It's great to meet others with a similar heart and passion for reading/writing books with a Christ-centered worldview. It's great to find a place, a group, like this, where we can meet, share, and grow/be encouraged by good books.
If anyone wants a free copy of my novel, "The Jesus Boy," or my two devotionals, "The Journey Home" or "30 Selah Moments: God on the Move: Acts 1-12," please get in touch. I'm hoping to get fair reviews. Please inbox me or leave a message here and I'll come back to you.
Thank you, friends.

I am new to the group. May name is Tami and I am now a Mamaw who stays home to take care of my grandchildren. I am an avid reader of Christian fiction although it has always been that way. But I wouldn’t go back to read thing I have read in past I enjoy Christian fiction and glad to have it as part of my life. I am a born again Christian who loves learning about the Bible.
I love love love to read. Karen Kingsbury is one of my favorite author but there are many! I am also glad to have found this group And I have enjoyed reading comments and finding new author who peek my interest. I look forward to other post and conversations in the future.

What genres do you like to read?"
Just about anything. But I do love romance.

lol, thanks Loraine, I look forward to it :)

Well, there are loads of those!
Tarama Leigh writes medieval romance and adventure.
Marylu Tyndall writes pirate romance novels.
Denise Hunter writes contemporary romance.
Karen Witemeyer writes cowboy romance.
Here's a start. Have fun!!

I now find myself with many hats to wear. I am a mother of 4 grown children and a grandmother of 3 adorable granddaughters. My third granddaughter was just born on leap day! I must admit that I loved active motherhood and was quite sad when my kiddos started leaving home in 2006. For therapy, I started writing what I most love: Christian fiction. Over time, a long story unfolded and just last year, a strange thing happened: I published it. You can read about "To Call My Own" in the author section, if you'd like.
I am also a part-time lab technician, church volunteer for children, and new Mommy to a puppy (who is slowly driving me insane!) Honestly, I thought I would have more time to read at this time in life, but most days are hopping.
A big juicy novel with a cup of tea is by far, my ‘happy place.’ Here’s to devouring some great stories with you! A friend just recommended Irene Hannon to me☺ .

I am so happy I found this group. My name is Lyvita and I am a creative journaler, podcaster, author and blogger who Loves reading, writing and hanging out with Jesus. Looking forward to hearing about some good books to read and hoping to share a few. My goal for this year is to read a minimum of 10 pages a day.

It starts out with a newly married couple who are struggling financially. She gets pregnant and her husband isn’t much help. He ends up divorcing her and wants to have visitation rights. When he takes their daughter she ends up accidentally dying. She ends up meeting someone new and by the end of the story she has twin babies.
Any clue!

My name is Gloria and I just joined. I’m excited to be a part of this group and see all your recommendations. It’s becoming incredibly difficult to find clean reads nowadays so this group seemed like the perfect fit. 😊

Looking forward to sharing the great passion of reading Christian books with you! I love all genres, from thrillers, to romances or nonfiction.
Stay home and stay safe!
Love and blessings from the Netherlands!

Welcome, Gloria! I'm with you, friend. Clean reads are really hard to find, sometimes even within the Christian book market. Have you tried Kim Vogel Sawyer's or Carrie Turansky's books yet? I've been really pleased with all the books I've read by each of those ladies. Happy reading!

Welcome, Henrieke! It's always fun to have international friends in the group. Feel free to jump in on some reading challenges or conversations as you feel more comfortable. Let us know if you have any questions. What sort of nonfiction do you like? I've enjoyed memoirs, biographies, and histories (WWII in particular with that last sub-genre).
