Never let reading feel like a job or a chore!

It all counts, no matter how long or short, or what age range it is targeted to! We're allowed to read YA, MG, Children books and even picture books! At the end of the year, it does not really matter how many pages vs books you have read. Just have fun with it! ..."

Yay! I remember that I liked your "reader's manifesto" last year, and this year sounds like you're sticking with it. More power to you! Have a great year of reading!

I love books meant for all ages. Middle Grade/Children books and picture books a source of comfort and a place of nostalgia."

Nothing wrong with going to your happy place!

I hope your books made you feel better! :)

I like picture books too. Usually I only allow myself to count pictures books if they've been recommended by someone or if they won any of that year's book awards. Otherwise, no padding my total with picture books.

This is a crazy year though, so I've thrown that rule out the window :)

Happy Reading!
