Winter bites! The freezing temperatures, the icy winds... brrr!
This year, winter bites in more ways than one! For this challenge, read 1 book that features a character with bite! This can be a were creature, vampire, zombie, dragon, some form of demon, ect! Runs from January 1st till March 20th

I am going to read The Nine Lives Of Chloe King, about a girl with cat powers, for this!

I just read that last year, it was really good, but it is long, so just don't let it drag on otherwise it'll be really hard to finish.

Jocelyn White | 24 comments I'm going to read Twilight! This is the perfect opportunity to find out about why there's so much hype behind it.

I'll keep that in mind Jocelyn! Hope you enjoy Twilight!

Claire (zebraclaire) | 47 comments Oops! Put my first comment on the wrong thread.

I like this idea! I've read so many werewolf and vampire novels in the last few years, so I thought I'd branch out. I'm reading His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik this month.

Claire, sounds really good! Naomi Novik is a good writer too, from what I have read of her (Spinning Silver) Must resist temptation to add more books to TBR...

I decided which book to read, Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu. It is one of the first vampire novels, and the library had a copy.
So I have to read it in the next three weeks.

I love this combination! So cute!

Carmilla deserves its reputation, Rosemarie. I think you’re going to love it.

Susy (susysstories) | 468 comments It may be carrying it a bit too far but I've read Mythos: The Greek Myths Retold. Of course Cronus plays a big part in this and in my opinion there isn't a "bitier" creature than the one who devoured his own children!

Sounds interesting Rose!
Thanks Renee!
Thats a good choice Susy, and yes thats very true, can't think of much bitier than that!

message 22: by Eileen (new)

Eileen | 1854 comments I finished Storm Cursed by Patricia Briggs for this one. :)

Carmilla was definitely interesting and a quick read.

Tammy Davis (portia2012) | 30 comments Where do we post when we finish this challenge. I just finished my book Worship the Night

Tammy, you post here about the books you've read, and you can also post on your personal thread.

message 25: by Lindsey (new)

Lindsey The Outsider by Stephen King 1/17/20 - 1/25/20, 5* - hard to explain the character that has the "bite" without giving it away but there is a character with a "bite" and not a good bite either.

message 26: by Akanksha (new)

Akanksha | 63 comments I just completed A Spot of Bother and the main protagonist there bites himself such that there's proper bleeding from the wrist. So I'm considering that I've completed this challenge :)
