Oops! Put my first comment on the wrong thread. I like this idea! I've read so many werewolf and vampire novels in the last few years, so I thought I'd branch out. I'm reading His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik this month.

Carmilla deserves its reputation, Rosemarie. I think you’re going to love it.
It may be carrying it a bit too far but I've read Mythos: The Greek Myths Retold. Of course Cronus plays a big part in this and in my opinion there isn't a "bitier" creature than the one who devoured his own children!

I finished Storm Cursed by Patricia Briggs for this one. :) Carmilla was definitely interesting and a quick read.

1/17/20 - 1/25/20, 5* - hard to explain the character that has the "bite" without giving it away but there is a character with a "bite" and not a good bite either.
I just completed A Spot of Bother and the main protagonist there bites himself such that there's proper bleeding from the wrist. So I'm considering that I've completed this challenge :)
