(view spoiler)[I like Ben but I also feel for Mia, her memories of him are lasting. I mean he really bullied her and not that she was sensitive or anything but like a normal person, that hurt her. I kinda like him though so I’m interested to see how he keeps at her. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I don’t know why but I was so thrown to find out he had a kid. But now the shock is gone and I love how he is with his son. Even Mia is excellent taking him to that medieval dinner show, I’ve always wanted to do one of those lol. I hope nothing happens with her mom but I’m curious to see how they’ll plan to stay together living four hrs apart. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I can’t believe his ex was caught drunk and on drugs with their 3 year old in the car. He also immediately thought of getting custody and being able to move to Georgia with Mia. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[This was cute. I like how it was Ben chasing Mia most of the story. The ending was cute and they’re disgustingly cute together. I really loved the little boy, he was super cute and Mia will be good for him. (hide spoiler)]

34% (view spoiler)[I have mixed feelings so far. I thought that the start was a little forced. It jumped right into the one night stand without getting to know any of the characters yet. Plus, parts of it seemed really unbelievable to me. For instance, the fact that these two knew each other pretty well for a bulk of their childhood but neither one recognized the other one in the present? Nope, not working for me. And there is a huge instalove thing going on and I can't stand instalove. Ben has spent one night with her and all of a sudden he is so smitten with her that he thinks he wants to spend his life with her. It just feels too forced. And I was hoping that we would find out a good reason for all the horrible things that Ben said to her and teased her about when they were kids but so far there isn't one. Just Ben and Tessa saying that he isn't the same person anymore. Maybe it will come later in the story? So far I think my favorite thing about the book is seeing Ben be a dad because Nolan is adorable. Maybe there will be some more character development as the story goes on. (hide spoiler)]

62% (view spoiler)[Mia is so amazing with Nolan. My heart went crazy when she got him all of those blow-up dragons. And taking him to that medieval restaurant was so thoughtful. And it was such a darling moment when Nolan told Mia that he loves her. Ben and Mia finally get out of the friend zone but I have a feeling that the distance will play a big part in the plot sooner or later. And I am actually really curious about Tessa and Jake now that Tessa is pregnant. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Ben having a kid actually shocked me as well. I certainly wasn't expecting it at all. But it's a good surprise though. Nolan is so adorable and Ben is so great with him. You can tell how much he loves him. I am also curious if anything bad will happen to Mia's mother. The author is definitely setting up her illness but I don't know if there will be a happy ending or not from it. And the distance is something that I am very curiosu about. Ben definitely doesn't want to give her up no matter the distance. (hide spoiler)]

79% (view spoiler)[It's so sad that Mia's mother passed away. I honestly wasn't sure how the author was going to handle that aspect of the story. The one thing that I definitely didn't expect was Ben getting shot. I did think that Mia overreacted a lot when she didn't get a call or text from Ben after she rushed back home to her mom. She was all ready to hate him again and it had been less than a day. Anything could have happened to prevent him from calling her back at the drop of a hat and it turns out that it did. (view spoiler)[I certainly wasn't expecting Nolan's mom to get pulled over for drunk driving while Nolan was in the car. But it definitely cements grounds for Ben to get sole custody. And Ben thinking that he can move to Georgia to be with Mia is sweet. The only thing holding him back before was his son. (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[I liked this for the most part. I'm still hung up on the instalove and how they "met" but I liked the characters. I loved how the side characters were so great too. I am actually excited to continue the series after the setup in this book for Luke and Tessa. I can't get over how adorable Nolan was. I kind of wish that there was an epilogue though. I would have loved to see them after having the baby. (hide spoiler)]

ch 6 (view spoiler)[ I totally get her reluctance to trust him or do anything further because of how he treated her in the past. He was terrible to her and justifying it by saying he was a kid is not okay. I also don't like that her friend thinks she should get over it, he tormented her and made her feel awful about herself! ch 11 (view spoiler)[ Okay seriously? Ben doesn't want a relationship with Nolan's mom, but he lets her blow him still and then tells her he didn't ask her to do that. What a dick move, she's not raping him, he's letting her do that and enjoying it obviously. He's a sweet dad and I know he likes Mia, but come on guy (hide spoiler)]

ch 17 (view spoiler)[ Mia and Ben are pretty cute together and I like how they are with Nolan. It's lucky Nolan was okay after his mom drove him around while intoxicated. Hopefully now Ben can have full custody of him and they can all be happy together (hide spoiler)]
