I asked for his criteria for bed buddies-that's the PG version.

He swore at me and said he didn't do groupies. And just like that, our friendship was off to a great start.

Reese Forster was the starting point guard for the Seattle Thunder.

Gorgeous. Cocky. Loved by the nation.

He's also attending preseason basketball training camp where I used to work.

Correction: where I work again, because I was fired from my last job.

And dumped.

And I might have a tiny bit of baggage, but that's normal. Right?

Reese and I shouldn't have become friends. We shouldn't have become roommates.

And we really shouldn't have started sleeping together ... (Except we did.)

I'm adorably psychotic. He's in the NBA.
This is not a disaster waiting to happen, at all.

Up to Ch. 14 (view spoiler)[I love how she blurts out the most random shit when she's nervous. Crazy ass questions that really only make the situation more weird and awkward lol. I can't wait to find out what happened with the ex that was so damn horrible?!?!? (hide spoiler)]

24% (view spoiler)[I am having mixed feelings so far. Part of me likes that Charlie is so awkward and the other part of me thinks that she is annoying. I don't know. Maybe she'll grow on me more as the story goes on. I am curious about what went down with Damian. It must have been pretty bad if she hid from the world the entire time that she was with him. It's kind of crappy to ghost on all of your friends and family for eight years. It must have been something terrible. I was a little surprised that she would just meet up with Trent and then let him talk her into going to the camp when she hadn't spoken to him in eight years. I don't have a grasp on Reese yet but I think I like him. He seems amused by Charlie. He also seems like he is troubled over something. Probably all the crap going on with his brother. I mean all that shit with her boss and she never said anything, I get her POV and that they wouldn’t have believed her but still. Also where the hell are the sexy times. (view spoiler)[So it seems like everything went so quick once she left camp. And I’m shocked she left him and even more shocked there wasn’t some life changing epiphany moment. I realize she went to see Damien but I guess I’m just used to characters having this like reawakening when they have a kind of sorta breakup. Glad they are back together now. And that’s really so crazy about Damien and beyond sad. You really never think about something like that happening to someone so young, I’m glad in the brief visit she had with him that he seems to be doing good. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Ok that ending with her asking the question was epic for this book. Kinda makes me like it more than I did. I don’t know I didn’t hate this but I can’t say I loved it either. And that was the weirdest ending honestly. I appreciate all the life details on everyone, guess I’m just not used to other peoples’ stories being included. (hide spoiler)]

I’ve read the Fallen Crest series, in fact I’m in the middle of rereading it now. Haven’t read enemies yet. Also read a few others from her.

And the coach is just as much of a douchebag as Keith. I wish she would have stood up for herself. I also wish that she would have confided in her friends. (hide spoiler)]

70% (view spoiler)[I am really glad that Reese and Charlie are both really opening up to each other. I am so glad that Keith was fired. He was the worst. Charlie still seems like she is in a weird spot in her life. She still has all this baggage and guilt, she has no job, and now she has this thing with Reese that is all sorts of iffy. They do seem to be getting closer though. They've just taken things a step further without actually saying the words but now I am just expecting something to happen to mess it all up. Which book is your favorite by Tijan?

Well I'm obsessed with the Fallen Crest series. And it's full of highschool drama which as I get older I won't lie, I find tiring. But damn if I don't eat up that series like candy. Ryan's Bed was also really good, it was more on the sweet and emotional side.

I am definitely going to have to read the series then. High school series with lots of drama are my kryptonite. I usually can't get enough of them. I occasionally crave something different if I've read too many of them but I always come right back to them after a while. =P

Finished (view spoiler)[I have to say, I think that the ending was pretty satisfying. I really loved that there was an epilogue so we could get a glimpse into Reese and Charlie's future. I like the way that things eventually played out. I also like that Charlie was the one to realize her mistake and take the initiative to try and fix it by going to Reese. And I think that it was good that she went to see Damian again for closure. She couldn't move on with someone else with her guilt over leaving him haunting her. She took the right steps. Glad you liked it. It was ok for me, I really loved the idea of a super fan and her crush falling in love. Definitely check out the Fallen Crest series, it’s high school drama like a soap opera lol you’ll love it....

I pretty much feel the same. It was an okay read. I gave it 3.5 stars. I think that the ending was much better and much stronger than the beginning of the book.
