Jennifer Edmunson (jenwined) | 3 comments How do you get your book fix? I use all 3. The more the merrier. I will also be honest that I will download the ebook and audio from the library so I don’t have to wait until I am back in the car or can read anywhere. Sorry, not sorry other Library peeps.

Jane Fischer | 72 comments I do all 3, too. usually reserve audiobooks for long trips out of town. I always check the library first for"real" books and Kindle before buying from Amazon. But 99% of my Christian books I buy because 99% of those are nonfiction.

Mitchell Elliott | 2 comments I use text to speech on my iPhone in the Kindle app while I listen using a Bluetooth earbud. I get through books about seven times faster on average, but if I really focus I can go up to 20 times faster than if I were reading by sight.

VeeInNY I agree... all three, sometimes simultaneously of the same book, esp when traveling. this is affordable only because of a great library system in my community.

Nick Basile | 2 comments Depends on the book. I like paper most when it is available and I can give dedicated reading time. My commute is a good time for absorbing facts, so nonfiction audiobooks work well then. If a book I want to read is particularly inexpensive electronically, (or is a free PDF) I will go that way, since the web (with its many problems) is good at cheap, fast, and easy. I am also learning that I am more likely to highlight or write notes on e-books. (You can't do that with audio books and shouldn't do that in library books!)

I use all three. Lately I've been reading Kindle books more often than paperback because my library has Overdrive. I was reading a lot of audio books during drives, but now two of my kids have learner's permits and I don't go as many places by myself, so I have a lot less listening time.
