Great initiative, Anirudh. :)"
I have been planning to read it since last month but then there were so many challenges ...I couldn't fit it in anywhere... So I thought no matter what I'll read this month

Oh ... How is it...? Worth the stars it got ? Did you like it ?

But anyways, I would've read it. Have been meaning to for long. :)

Then we can all read together .... I'll pull shiny in as well.. .. I think no need to pull one word: classic and she will automatically come running :P

Where is our great Ishu? :D"
Hahaha you call Ishu ...I call baby mod :P

Oh ... How is it...? Worth the stars it got ? Did you like it ?"
Actually , I didn't like it much. It was okay in a gothic romance sort of way. The hero was too overbearing. I am allergic to the tall, dark, handsome , brooding -with- hidden -secrets types

Ahhhh.... Looks like I am going to like it ...maybe ... Maybe not :P

Lol... No. You are just reacting to your allergies :D
So do you like Mr. Darcy ?

Middlemarch
The Man in the Iron Mask
The Count of Monte Cristo
These are a few of my TBRs. But I am open to trying out any Classic which I have not read in the recent past .

Lol... No. You are just reacting to your allergies :D
So do you like Mr. Darcy ?"
:-)Darcy was better, especially as the book progressed. Though Elizabeth is the one who gets full credits from me.

I have Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, Crime and Punishment, Monte Cristo and Dorian Gray

Middlemarch
Uncle Tom's Cabin
The Count of Monte Cristo
Anna Karenina

Okay Ji :-) ;-)

And I'm feeling relieved at that. I thought I'm the only person on Earth to have not read it. :P

Lol... Now we have a bunch with us :P

Rebecca's great...you'll zip thru it...

Polo, lol, you overestimate me at times :P
Anywho, I've been planning on Rebecca too. But I see it isn't getting a lot of great reviews on the thread so maybe ill do that one later. Dorian was a very good read but wasn't one of my bests. Some others I've been meaning to read are-
•Monte Cristo
•Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll
•Christmas Carol
•The Hidden Hand
•David Copperfield
And of course, any Shakespeare! Or Voltaire if one wants a little philosophy too.
Meanwhile, I'm also reading Ulysses in my classics group but am only 2 episodes in if anyone wants to join. Also, I'm always up for another re-read of the Wuthering Heights. It's absolutely marvelous, that book! Or if anyone wants to read a classic crime, I'm gonna continue the Philo Vance series by SS Van Dine. I'm currently reading the first book- The Benson Murder Case. It's brilliant! Vance is by far the most fascinating, and at the same time amusing, character I've read. I'll also be reading The Man Who Knew Too Much by GK Chesterson soon after my exams. Anyone who wants to join me for one of these is most welcome :)

I was thinking of dropping the link at your devious thread. Where were you all this while? :D
And I got David Copperfield on my list too. Me and Gehna were planning to BR it soon. We could do it together, though it might be a bit later. :)
