The No-Buy thread about books and why we haven't gotten to those stacks of books.

I reach my capacity when my books end up under the book and spread all over the floor. Then i just send them for thrift store and re buy books that i am meant to read or just get them on my kindle.
I should be on a no buy, but then I get another email with a 'look - for $1.99' that has a book I would like to read and I am hooked ....again....of course, I don't get around to it.
I have stacks and boxes of books that I want to read and never get to. Although in all fairness I do keep all of my art books and reference books. As soon as I do read a book though, it is gone to the Veterans. I only read a novel once, I figure there are far to many books out to reread.

What makes you decide when it is time for a no-buy?
What books come in between that adds to prolonging the period?
What is that one book you have been meaning to read forever and just haven't gotten around to, or is the stack of books waiting for you are those books and the reason you are on a no buy?
