You may hate it, you may love it. It totally messes up with the endings od CMBYN. I liked it, decently!




I agree, the idea of reading a book with a new perspective would be super interesting however, I feel like the current book would lose its charm.


I think CBYN would still keep it's charm; I've sat on Elio's perspective for quite some time already and I think Aciman's stream-of-consciousness writing will keep us readers just as intrigued.








Oh man, i just started reading it and i was really expecting a lot of oliver and elio

I dont think so, i mean even in cmbyn oliver talks about his love for elio, and we read it through elio's recollection. But maybe the 2024 set of people might not take it lightly, but in 2017 i feel like it wouldve been wavered off as just a sequel(or smthn)
