The F-word discussion

I've two books on my 'want to read' list that appear remarkably similar: Cordelia Fine's Testosterone Rex: Myths of Sex, Science, and Society and Gina Rippon's The Gendered Brain: The New Neuroscience That Shatters the Myth of the Female Brain. They each seem to be careful detailed debunkings of the idea that our brains are gendered. Has anyone read both? What are the differences between the two books? Which one is better?

I haven't read either, but I've seen some bad reviews of Testosterone Rex which put me off - which is very sad because Fine's Delusions of Gender was a great favourite of mine for a long time.

The main criticism I've heard of Testosterone Rex is that she over-reaches trying to argue that there are no sex differences while using studies that show sex differences. The top Goodreads review from Warwick is a pretty even criticism, I think.
