Feliks (dzerzhinsky) I can't find him. Halp

Goodreads insists on directing me thitherwards:

Alexander Wilson (1766–1813) a Scottish-American poet and ornithologist.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexand...
(July 6, 1766 – August 23, 1813)

When the guy I really want is:
Alexander Wilson (writer and spy)
(24 October 1893 – 4 April 1963)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexand...

He has a long list of books. Can it possibly be that Goodreads is bereft of this author and his contributions?

Kathy | 56 comments Apparently your Alexander Wilson hasn't been sorted out yet from all the others. The only one of his novels I was able to find after a few minutes' search was The Death of Dr. Whitelaw, and that's still under the incorrect author you noted. His two pseudonyms are not listed yet, either.

Suggest you post a request on the Librarians list for a disambiguation. Then you can make it your purpose in life to get those other 23 novels on the profile. ;-)

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) There's something in what you say. I shall proceed as you've suggested!

p.s. in passing, how about this author, as well?

'Virginia Anne Rath'. 'Death at Dayton's Folly'? 'The Murders at Hillside'?

Michele | 2488 comments OK, I've fixed the one book of his that's already on GR (The Death of Dr. Whitelaw), adding the others now...

Feliks (dzerzhinsky) yah! Hurrah!

A thousand thanks. He's a key figure in the development of the espionage genre.

Neat! Well, now that he's on here, maybe more people will find him. I'm certainly interested :)

The one thing that is lamentable about Goodreads is its severe tilt towards the recent. Many wonderful older authors are not represented. If you find more, feel free to message me about adding them, or of course you can post to the Librarians Group.
