Lol! I have to refrain from staring at him. One time he caught me doing that and said I was looking at him like I wanted to kill him.

Why is it forbidden then?

In the Goldbergs, this happened with Lainey and Barry.

Lainey: Guess what? My dad forbids us to be together.

It seemed better than "he'd probably never like me back anyway". Plus, he's my karate teacher's son, so that would be really awkward.
