Please post nominations here for our next group read. Start date will be January 20. Please nominate a book from the list of 100 books on which our group is based that has not already been a group read. A list of previous group reads is below.

Nominations will end on December 20 at midnight. If needed, a poll will be up for about a week after nominations end.

I'm posting this a little earlier due to the upcoming holidays and my husband is having surgery this coming Friday. His recovery will impact my free time considerably. :-)

Here's to another great year of reading! We do hope more of you will want to participate this year. Let us know if you have any ideas for improvements to the group.

Previous group reads:
A Room with a View - 2012
Persuasion -2013
Anne of Green Gables - 2013
The Handmaid's Tale -2013
Gone with the Wind - 2013
Memoirs of a Geisha - 2014
Scarlet Feather - 2014
The Outsiders - 2014
Little Women - 2014
Outlander - 2014
1984 - 2014

While I love the idea of reading Dickens, I'd love more nominations. Anyone interested???? :-)

Well, looks like we will be reading A Tale of Two Cities. Since it was the only one nominated, there is no need for a poll. Hope some of you will join us in this group read.

Looking forward to it, Tessa! I love Dickens ... usually. :-)

Book Concierge (tessabookconcierge) I know I was supposed to read this in high school, but I'm pretty sure I just relied on the Cliff's Notes (now called Sparks notes). I think I'm going to request the audio book from the library.
