Aris I think one of the strange aspects of this book is Pinchbeck's continual dismissal of other prophetic transmissions. Time and time again he talks about how these various transmissions smack of the avatars own misgivings and limited human experience. When we finally get to his own transmission there much of the same limited, ego-driven content as in the work he's spent numerous pages dismissing. Is part of being a prophet losing any sense of perspective?

Joe Hi, I'm not very far into this, but I just noticed that he compares the Second Coming of Christ to "the return of a Schwarzenegger-like Messiah, mowing down the armies of the faithless." This makes me feel like the author has never met a Christian in his life.
