Lindsey (booksdingle) | 21 comments Just wondering if anyone on here has this condition and if so how you cope with it? After over 20 years of trying to get to the bottom of a wide range of ongoing health issues I have had to accept that this is what I have - obviously not happy about it as I know there is no cure and I will just need to manage it - but I am determined that I will still carry on with things as normally as possible and on the bad days.....I will sit down and read!!! So not all bad. Any thoughts on how to deal with this appreciated.

Félix (habitseven) Spouse has this disorder and has been dealing with it for many years.

Have you ever considered seeking chiropractic care? It is actually a very common form of alternative medicine for those suffering from Fibromyalgia. You may very well find that spinal/joint manipulation can decrease your pain significantly, and improve range of motion and overall health. I currently intern for a Chiropractor and have personally experienced patient improvement in regards to this condition.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments Four years ago, I had allover body aches that made me want to just lie down. I started taking 400 mg of CoQ10 daily, and the body aches went away. I now take 200 mg a day. Hope this helps.

Lindsey (booksdingle) | 21 comments I have recently seen a specialist who says I do not have enough trigger points for a definite diagnosis but I continue to suffer with extreme tiredness and aching joints/muscles when I have what I call a 'fibro flare'. I am looking at other conditions such as MS and CFS - its very frustrating when it comes and goes out of nowhere, seemingly.

Sophia Martin | 10 comments My husband may have this, though we have yet to have a definitive diagnosis. He's trying some different meds and has a new doctor, so we'll see.
Chronic pain really, really sucks.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments Tell him about the CoQ10. Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

Phil | 11837 comments A good friend has this, and copes with it via medical marijuana.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments My grandmother has it, and my BFF who lives NW of Little Rock has it. I don't have it, but I do have issues with severe nerve pain in the outer flank of my right thigh (meralgia parasthetica). I've been dealing with it off and on for about 8 years.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments Again, CoQ10 helps. If I stop taking it for a week or so, the all-over body pain returns.

Reggia | 4 comments Taking magnesium daily and doing Pilates 3x a week are critical for me. Additionally, ensuring one gets a full night's sleep and reducing gluten have been key in keeping unpleasant symptoms to a minimum.
