on Sunday Feb 2, and I can't believe I forgot to tell you until now. If any of you are close to Escondido, California, I'd love to see you there. There'll be snacks.

Here's the official announcement.

Returning to the Poets INC podium on Feb 2nd: from San Clemente, it's the prolific & sublimely pacific Ruth Bavetta. Her poems have appeared in Rattle, North American Review, Nimrod, Rhino, Tar River Review, Slant, Atlanta Review and many others, and are included in several anthologies. Her books include "Fugitive Pigments", "Flour, Water, Salt" (FutureCycle), "Embers on the Stairs" (Moontide), and "No Longer at This Address" (Aldrich). An open mic follows in the second hour, for everyone on the signup board. Light refreshments are served during the intermission between the first and second hour.

When: Sunday, February 2, 2020, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Where:
Escondido Arts Partnership Escondido Municipal Gallery

262 E. Grand Avenue, Escondido, 92025

Cost: Free

Sublimely Pacific! That's pretty cool. Me, I'm only "Brinely Atlantic," so far to go.

Standing offer: I'll be there with bells on when you do a reading in New England.
