TH84 I'm curious about this book. I've read that it kinda messes with your head. Is that true? Maybe it depends on the reader. If you've read it, did you like it and is it a book you would recommend?

If you like thrillers with suspense, paranormal elements and conspiracy theories, then you would like any of Dean Koontz's books. This one is definitely more of a psychological thriller, I did not think it really "messed with your head", but it was suspenseful. I would recommend it!

The Bookish Panda I read this not long ago. I would recommend it, it is fantastic physiological thriller. However, I will provide some warnings as a just in case, and I hope not to spoil it with these warnings. There is substance abuse, suicide attempts and suicide, as well as rape.there are references to children being severely manipulated into lying about molestation. ( I could have done with out that in the book) I might be missing some other topics that could be considered trigger warnings, those are what really stood out to me. I wasn't triggered, and I did enjoy the book for being a thriller, but I don't want to recommend something without some warnings.

TH84 Thanks for the warning. If I read it, I'll be prepared

The Bookish Panda You're welcome. Oh, almost forgot, there are phobias. Agoraphobian I think that is the one where a person is afraid to go outside and there was one more...I forgot the name but it is the fear of oneself.

The book does not mess with your head, the story is about psychology. Unfortunately I can't give you too much information without spoiling the plot. But I can recommend it because the plot is somewhat special.

Jake I would highly recommend it, Dean Koontz writes very well and it's a good book. It's been mentioned before what the book contains so I won't go into that here, but I will mention that I enjoyed Door to December, Fear Nothing, Watchers or The Taking a bit more than False Memory. Though this is due more to personal preference and does not reflect on the quality of this book at all.

Aimee Kathryn It's my absolute favorite book of all time!!! 110% would recommend!!
