* The amounts marked with asterisks are ones that I felt could be included in any book choice regardless of theme. And I'll do my best to make sure that more of them are included in any future book poll on any topic. The message being your geographic location, health, abilities, race, or sexual preference does not limit a person's ability to be an expert on a subject or as a protagonist as we are multi-faceted intersectional people that can be part of more than one category.

Ok! Those are the results! Be sure to vote on our next two polls to decide what books we will be reading and discussing together

AND

Florian (laughingflow) | 241 comments Well... tremendous work to explain everything and propose immediately new polls for the next books.
I am speechless :O

Just a technical thing. When I go on the new polls and I right click to open the book in another tabs it opens the same poll and it does not direct to the book itself. I know I was too lazy to write the title in the Search book but is there any way to allow a "right click/open in a new tab" that directly guide you to the book?
I'm not sure if I quite clear :p or if it is even possible ;)

At the bottom of the poll before you get to the comments, there is section called: This Poll Is About. Below it are all the books linked to the poll. If you right click those books, Goodreads should take you to the book's summary/information page.

Thanks!

I was writing the title in the search books, this hint will definitely simplify things :)

K (katetakate) Thanks Pam and new team for these options and for taking lead on the direction of this group. I have looked at every book - I don’t have preference because I’m happy to wait see what is picked :) and I’ll see if my library has a copy.

After May, a suggestion: I would love to have the option to discuss fiction novels that centre about feminist themes (I know that is a huge area - and I can see why it’s easier to vote on non -fiction topics/themes)
So one idea is to have us vote on fiction from lists like:

“Reading Women Awards podcast shortlist” https://www.readingwomenpodcast.com/r...

Or
other awards shortlists from 2008-2018 (so the paperback books are hopefully more widely accessible in libraries or second hand shops) like: https://www.womensprizeforfiction.co....
