Got my first selection for my birthday this week. Transcript by Heimrad Bäcker. My other firm plans so far are: Gilgi, One of Us by Irmgard Keun River by Esther Kinsky
I read Transcript in one burst as I couldn't pull myself away. By the end I was virtually trembling. I never fully got "found" or "concrete" poetry before this I think.
Malina was a great choice. A fascinatingly strange book. I abandoned the plan to read River as the library copy I reserved was held up by coronavirus and everyone's reviews were so negative. I have the Keun lined up now but distracted by Jane Austen July.
My other firm plans so far are:
Gilgi, One of Us by Irmgard Keun
River by Esther Kinsky
