Being the middle child has its ups and downs.

Chapter 2, Maya- (view spoiler)[ Relatable, but yet again depressing. But fortunately, Maya gets good care from teachers and her parents. (hide spoiler)]

i like it so far. i thought they will reunite when they're way older not 15 and 16, and they went to the point really fast. Joaquin's story seems the saddest, going from foster home to foster home all his life. i'm excited to see the three of them together.

it looks like the whole book will be depressing XD
(if you're talking about the parents fighting) it sucks that it's relatable :(

Chapter 3, Joaquin- (view spoiler)[ Joaquin's past seems the most depressing out of the 3 so far, but he seems happy now, so thats a good thing. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4, Grace- (view spoiler)[ When I started to read the chapter I expected things to go down hill, but I guess I was wrong. It's only been 4 chapters ( or 50 pages ) and Grace & Maya already met? ( I thought this was the plot, I guess I'm wrong yet again. ) It's a pretty fast paced book and it doesn't seem like a bad book. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6, Joaquin- (view spoiler)[ Everyone of these siblings seem to be able to easily adjust to the environment. One more thing, how does everyone of these chapters have some relatable things? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7, Grace- (view spoiler)[ Dang, this book genuinely makes me want to feel some sort of sympathy towards people. This chapter wasn't something I didn't expect, but I didn't really expect Grace to go that aggressive. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8, Maya- (view spoiler)[ I'm not even sure I'm going to be able to keep track of the things happening in this book, but I guess I have to try first. It's really unfortunate how Grace, Maya, and Joaquin still have to deal with depressing things. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9, Joaquin- (view spoiler)[ For some reason this reminds me of the times where anxiety and depression killed me. Though I should have gotten therapy, I didn't. I can relate to this chapter in a lot of ways. So far so good tho (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10, Grace- (view spoiler)[ I'm like 99% sure I'm going to start crying when I finish the book. This is one of those rare books that actually allows me to feel emotion. ( Atleast for me ) Peach's new parents do seem like good people tho.. (hide spoiler)]

I'm so sorry it took me like a week to finish this book, but I finally managed to do so.

Thoughts: (view spoiler)[ I mean 80% of the story was all about depressing and unfortunate things, but the last few chapters seemed pretty positive. Maya & Claire got back together, Joaquin & Birdie got back together, and Grace finally met Peach/Milly? I mean it wasn’t a bad book, but wasn't my favorite either. ( Considering that most of the books I read are Fantasy. ) I'd rate it like 3.5 or 4 stars. (hide spoiler)]
