I am looking for reviewers/betas for unpublished Paranormal Drama, some M/M scenes, see synopsis below.
Within a roadhouse on the outskirts of a small mountain town, lives a young man named Jason. He’s been there almost six months, ever since his motorcycle died, leaving him stranded with the eclectic bunch that also lives and works it the out of the way place. Dan, the chef and owner was born in the community and has deep roots there, which is likely why the people keep coming back despite the fact that on a bad night he has a tendency to burn or mix up orders. Not to mention that Pat, one of two full time waitresses, is a crude, loud and often abrasive woman to those she doesn’t know, she is in a relationship with the soft spoken Genna, the second waitress, and maintains a prickly friendship with Dan. The regulars however are used to her blunt and crusty behavior and she to their oddities, so she seems to get along well enough with them.
Also living in the roadhouse is a thirty-seven year old trucker named Clyde, who nurses feelings for Jason that he only shares with Dan, and Trajin, the twenty-three year old son of one of the more influential women in town. Jason and Tristen have a friends with benefits deal going, though Triajin has made it clear, more than once, that he’d like them to be an item, a proposition that Jason had turned down time and time again. A restless soul who grew up in the foster care system, Jason is leery of getting close to people, in fact, whenever he would get too close to foster families he tended to run away. He has every intention of leaving the roadhouse and has no desire to deal with any entanglements, creating some spots of tension between the two men.
When an alien ship crash lands in the field beside the roadhouse, everything begins to change. At first, Jason thinks he dreamed the crash, though he has no way to explain the handprint shaped marks on several parts of his body. Clyde questions how he got them as well, after the older man helps him inside and discovers them. While tending Jason's injuries Clyde discovers that they share a love for Karate and offers to teach Jason some new Katas (forms), an offer which Jason hesitantly agrees to think about. After Jason shares his account of the dream, the two go looking for a bonfire and a more reasonable explanation for the marks all over Jason. What they find, however, is that the fish in the river adjacent to the roadhouse line the banks of the water, looking to have been boiled alive, one of them with a handprint branded into its side, just like the ones on Jason.
From a cave overlooking the river the alien, Ano Ki Jinn, watches Clyde, Trajin, and especially Jason who he believes is his mate and who he has come to earth to claim.
