What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This book is relatively new. There are two women living in house on the hill overlooking town.

Didn't want to spoil anything, and I never finished it, but I believe the women up on the hill are some type of witches.

You can tell spoilers! People usually have to! Just cover them with the spoiler tag.

Unfortunately, I don't have much more. Two workers arrive at the home on the hill at the beginning and bad things happen. A boy and his father move to this new town and the boy's bedroom is an attic type with a window overlooking the street at the bottom of the hill. Ugh, that's all I can remember right now. Oh, and I think the title was similar to Malleus Maleficarum, but it was not that book. I've googled the hell out of this! :)

Nevermind, I found it. Malus Domestica.

At first I thought it was Salem's Lot, It too has a father & son moving into town.
