Books Dealing with Addiction discussion

Hey all! A dear and bookish friend of mine has been struggling to understand the mind of her partner who is struggling with an eating disorder. I am looking for good books about that to give her some insight, but I don't believe I have ever encountered any. Does anyone have any recommendations?
