getting my book to appear in this group is proving, well, problematical. I followed the instructions to add my book to the "to read" list but it doesn't appear on the search list of books.
Do I need to "read" and then "review" my own book to get it to appear in the list of "to read" books that I am supposed to enter my book in - and if so is giving myself 5 stars ok
or do I have to wait for someone else to read my book for it appear on the list?

I got the book added to the group shelf. I could not find your book using the title or your full name. Not even in a General Goodreads book search using the main search bar. The only way I could find it was by using the ASIN number.

This might be something to ask the Goodreads Librarian Group. When you added your book to Goodreads you might have missed a step and it is not searchable by title or author (even though both of those fields are required).
