Just started! Great beginning!

I'm listening to the audio book and I really like the narrator. His Henri voice is just great.

I went ahead and started another book before you got it but I'm halfway and hope to start soon. I saw the movie years ago but don't remember much so

So I'm sorry I didn't write so much I just could not put this book down! I'm finished!

40% done so far its a very easy book to read and I'm enjoying it (view spoiler)[ I hope they get to stay in the town this time he is making friends for the first time and a few enemies lol I can't help but think he will come across the other 5 at some time maybe he already has but we just don't know it yet (hide spoiler)]

80% done (view spoiler)[ The action has picked up at last. Mark turned out to be a good guy, good for him helping in the fighting. Six has turned up to help fight but now the others can be killed they no longer have to be killed in order from what i understand. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ the book was just ok for me nothing to rave about all the way through it felt very immature as in this would appeal to a young teen maybe. My favourite was Bernie Kosar right from the start i know there was more to him than being just a stray. I was sorry to see Henri die i really felt he should have survived (hide spoiler)]

Ending Thoughts
(view spoiler)[ Most alien books drive me crazy because they tend to throw you into the story, explain nothing, and hope you like it. But this book did a very good job explaining things as they went and not in a info dump kind of way either. The ending fight scene was too long for my taste but was needed. I liked the MC as well, thou the love story part i could have done without... (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4: (view spoiler)[ Must be weird having to change identities and going to different schools just to make sure you don't stand out. Also, do his abilities come at random moments just like at school? At least Henri came. I like Henri. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 10: (view spoiler)[ The book has short chapters and it makes it easier and quicker to read. The writing is pretty simple and it explains what the story is about quite nicely without giving information dumps. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 30: (view spoiler)[ I seriously do not think that the dog is really a dog. Maybe a type of dog from Lorien. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 31: (view spoiler)[ The action is interesting. I like the fight; however, I thought it was really long. I like the appearance of Six. I am still wondering what Bernir Kusar can do. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4
(view spoiler)[The start of the school days was one of the most cliche things I've read in quite a while. But it got better. Here's hoping the writing, which is very bland, does as well. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8
(view spoiler)[There are two things I'm pretty sure about:
1. Henri is going to die,
2. the thing at the door is the dog from school. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished it and was wondering if we are reading the next one. I'll do my updates later today.

Ch 1-8. (view spoiler)[ that was a crazy beginning. That poor boy dies so fast. This boy and his guardian are killed by those Mogadorians. I like that we get introduced to Henri and Four. I like the high school and the "typical" bully and beautiful girl. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 9-14 (view spoiler)[ um those bullies not to get beat up to learn to stop messing with people. I'm glad Sam and John are friends. That must be nasty! Those lockers full of manure, ew!!! I don't like the principal, he lets Mark get away with murder! (hide spoiler)]

Ch 15-20 (view spoiler)[ why can't Henri listen to John at least this once?! Now he is captured and Sam has to drive his dads truck without a license and risk their lives! Well at least they found Henri. I wonder if Sams dad really got abducted. There is something fishy there. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 21-34 (view spoiler)[ well this last chapters sure were interesting. I love Six she sounds bad-ass!!! I'm glad John was able to get that monster to help them instead of kill them. I still can't believe Henri is no more. I'm glad his Chimera made it, I wonder about Sam, is he really human? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I get wanting to stay where you have friends. But lifting Henri up like that was still a very douchy thing to do.
Also, turns out Four's powers are useful after all, what with the whole Mogadorians' problem with light thing. Hmm... maybe they are vampires... (hide spoiler)]
