Cool
Buzzfeed article
that added a couple more movies / books to read to the list. Some of them actually are already out in other parts of the world, but in USA aren't, so here are they:
Black Mass: The Irish Mob, The FBI and A Devil's Deal by Dick Lehr
Dead Stars by Bruce Wagner (this one is complicated though, it was written after the screenplay for Maps to the Stars)
The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks
Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern
The Moon and the Sun by Vonda N. McIntyre
The Scorch Trials by James Dashner
The Spook's Apprentice by Joseph Delaney

Some other movies and TV shows I am eager to see, and they are based on (or inspired by) books:
The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill
The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman
The Grantchester Mysteries by James Runcie (the first season is already out)
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer (Everest)
The Revenant by Michael Punke
Zoo by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge

The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex, the film is entitled Home

For anyone interested, Disney is also making yet another film adaptation of Cinderella.

I heard a lot about Bill Bryson, and with Redford and the nature doing its part, I am sure movie will be very interesting!

Awesome, thanks Trisa!
About Cinderella, I am curious how it'll look like. Kenneth Brannagh directing, and Robb Stark playing Prince Charming :) Really curious :)

I love Adam Rex, and enjoyed this book. The only disappointment I have is that in the book, the main character (alien) names himself J. Lo, but that didn't translate to the movie :)
One adaptation is almost done according to this IndieWire article (sorry if I am a bit late to the party):
Beasts of No Nation by Uzodinma Iweala
and the second is still in development, but hopefully will be realized in 2016:
It by Stephen King

Related to that above, another IndieWire article mentions a couple of other potential adaptations:
The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, and the Real Count of Monte Cristo by Tom Reiss
The Alienist by Caleb Carr
