No, a translator is not an author.
Does it have to be exactly two or would a collaboration of three authors work?

More is okay, but it has to be one work - not an anthology or with separate parts written by different authors

I found a fun test case for this one, when browsing the One Word Title list for 25.2...Candyland is a collaboration between two authors, Ed McBain & Evan Hunter.
Ed McBain is a psuedonym for Evan Hunter.
So: does it count if the "two" authors are in fact the same person?! ;-P

Doesn't matter - it's certainly not an anthology, nor does it appear to be a book with different sections written separately - at least not visibly. You're good to go with this one.

I'm sorry, but no. This is a stage adaptation by some unnamed actor or author, not a joint project between 2 or more authors.
The Handmaid's Tale: The Graphic Novel has the original author plus the illustrator/adapter listed. Would it count?

Would Twenty Years After work? Alexandre Dumas is listed as the author and Auguste Maguet as co-author. Seems that it should work...but strange that they don't list it as Dumas AND Maguet.
