Sometimes we all get stuck on what to read. To start a new series, finish a quick trilogy, make progress in that super long one, etc. Or we love fun ways to learn what our fellow readers have enjoyed. Then you have come to the right place.

***Small Alternate option and mini requirement change so please read***

Sign up to have a fellow group member go through your TBR folder(s). Or link to a shelf, spreadsheet, etc (please make use that any link you provide only offers books that are part of a series-no standalones). *Please provide at least 10 series to choose from.
.**Also, you may have noticed a new folder titles "Someday I'll Read." If you are using threads to share your series you can have your picks split. So you can have one book chosen from a series you've already started under using your "So Many to Read" thread, and then have a different pick made for a series you have yet to start. This is fully optional. You can change this whenever you want. Same with how you are using your threads.**.

You will then be assigned a person for which you will pick TWO different series for your assigned person to try and read from their personal list.
-So Person A might pick for person E, E might pick for C, etc.
-You must be able to pick for your buddy before the new month begins. Buddy's will be made approximately 5 days before the month is over. Each month's thread will specify dates.

You will then try to read at least 1 book from one of the two series that were picked for you.

Share your thoughts as of after reading.
Re-reads of a series are okay. They are not picking a specific book, just the series. Maybe you need to reread the most recent book to continue or just want to start over. That is okay.

*When picking series be sure there is a difference for options. Such as two different genres. Or maybe one MG/YA and one adult. One long book might be paired with a short book, etc. This is to ensure that if a reader is not in the mood or doesn't feel like undertaking one, they other might feel more appealing.

If you are interested in participating please sign up here. If using something besides your thread under "So many To Read" be sure to link up whatever shelf, list, etc you want them to pick from. Especially if you want picks from 2 lists/threads. Only have series books on these.
Sign ups close on the 24th.
Buddy's should be posted by the 25th or 26th.
Be sure to look at your buddy's thread, list, sheet, etc. and post your picks for them before March 1st.

*If, for any reason, your picks don't work out for you one month it is okay. Hopefully you'll try the next. Life happens. Many of us are mood readers, or have other challenge prompts, etc. This is very low key!

For each pick made for you that you read for you will receive 5 points toward the annual scores. So you can earn up to 10 points! *Plus if you use any of personal series threads in this group you will receive an extra 3 points (Sans and I do track new comments on threads for easy tracking but if you edit comments you need to let us know DURING the challenge duration that you have used the threads)

I thought I would give it a try. I like the line "If, for any reason, your picks don't work out for you one month it is okay. Hopefully you'll try the next. Life happens. Many of us are mood readers, or have other challenge prompts, etc. This is very low key!"

Because I always feel terrible if I can't read the book.

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 988 comments Also sorry but this line is bothering me. lol.

"Same with how you using your threads."

Slight typo.

No I want this to be fun no matter what. And easy on us so we can read too lol. The only way I would not be happy is if someone constantly joins, doesn't pick for their partner 1/2 the time (its okay once in a while-mods will cover it), and never reads any picks. Then I question the point. But otherwise we want to be open about this. This is great for when you aren't sure what to read next, or a way to look at recommendations. The last thing I want is for someone to feel like the book is looming over their heads like a chore.

Very true. That's why I am selective about what months I join. I try to only join when I'm really excited to try. ^_^

Thanks! I will have to re-ead Little Women before Little Men though. I barely remember it. I read it as a kid so yeah..... lol. Didn't even know there was a sequel before goodreads showed me./
