Stacy (stacylienemann) Get in your picks!

Stacy (stacylienemann) This is the most interesting match-up of the tourney for me so far. I'm anxiously awaiting reading both of these novels. Shining is waiting at the library for me today! However, I think Oscar Wao has the best buzz for the tourney and remains my pick to win the whole shebang (no reference to Ricky Martin intended).

Jennifer | 31 comments what a strange coincidence, my copy of "shining" is waiting to picked up today as well. this will be the first book i've managed to get from the library for the competition, which is frustrating since I suspect Oscar is about to kick it out of the race.

Scott | 50 comments I've read Oscar Wao and I think it's deserving of the buzz it's getting. It gets my pick to advance.

Johanna | 25 comments I would bet that if Oscar Wao doesn't make it past Shining, then it's coming back in the Zombie Round. For that reason alone, I sort of would like to see Shining get just a little further. Still, I'll make the sensible pick instead and go with Oscar Wao.

Scott | 50 comments As pleased as I am that Oscar Wao advanced, Genoways really got me interested in Shining at the Bottom of the Sea. Calling it Nabokovian really perked up my ears.

Maggie | 17 comments Oscar Wao deserves every amount of buzz it's getting, and it also deserves my pick.
