Really good so far. I like how Edward can sense the misery in others and it helps him feel at home. He likes Shay because she’s real, and of course a kid like him. There are some really good lines/concepts, like “Edward is a mess, so he recognizes Lacey. And he recognizes that he’s part of her mess.” Another person who recognizes others is Florida. I like her observations of the other passengers on the plane. Benjamin’s perspectives are also quite astute and interesting.

Agreed. The passengers are making this book for me. I was so afraid it was just going to be sad and more sad. I'm really liking Shay and Edward's friendship.
