Woah! Did not see that ending coming, and so enjoyed this book

I think I’m in the minority but didn’t love the book. I didn’t dislike it but didn’t feel strong feelings one way or another. The end was the best part though. Throughout, I felt like the characters were pretty flat and then all of a sudden came to life at the very end.

I enjoyed the book far more than I expected! I enjoyed the slower pacing and while the characters did feel flat at times, they were a good representation of traumatized individuals.
