Nominations for Spring 2020

Nicholas Nickleby has been nominated for our June read as well. We may need to keep it to one or the other. Is there another book you’d like to nominate here, Jane?
We don't second any nomination in the Victorian group. You can make a nomination of your own Tammie, Brittany, and Nidhi. :)

Nidhi, we read Shirley last May, so it comes under ineligible titles. You may refer to the link provided in message 1 to see what titles are ineligible. You can make a different nomination. Thanks.

You can still comment on the Shirley thread, if you want to read the book. I started mine months ago, and haven´t finished it yet, so I might chime in! :)

No, I guess that´s just books we want to read some day, if anyone suggests them. You can put books you want to read also on your personal to-read shelf, so that you remember which ones interested you.

No, it doesn't mean we are to read these books this year. It means the book was added to the bookshelf. The way GR works, we have three designations regarding the status of any given book:
1) read
2) to read
3) currently reading
So this means "to read" becomes the default position when the other two don't apply.

So far we have ...
Black Beauty
North and South
The Odd Women
That’s only three for our poll. I’ll leave the nomination thread up for a few more days before setting up the poll.

That gives us 5 nominations here & 8 for Dickens in June so we’re going to close out & set up the poll. It will be ready by Saturday.
Thanks, Everyone!
