Warehouse 13 Volume 1
This is the collected edition of the 5 comic book issues of Warehouse 13. I have been meaning to pick up the comics for sometime to get them collected and read. Now I just have to get them to collect them. Won't HAVE to read them, but I probably will anyway. Each issue had two covers. I'm not sure how they were distributed often now-days comics will have an exclusive industry or hobby cover that is only available in the comic stores and specialty hobby stores and a "newsstand" cover for the retail stores. For Warehouse 13 each issue had a drawn cover that was usually an action shot, and the other was a photo cover or a drawing that was very realistic like a photo.
The adventures in the series/Volume are quite exciting. They kept me interested, that may have been mostly because I'm a big WH13 fan but that is only part of the reason. The story lines are well written and the artwork is excellent. It stands out in this graphic novel format.
I gave the "book" 5 of 5 stars. I rarely do that anymore because of the "nothing is perfect" truth, but in this case I didn't care about that I really really enjoyed the story the art and everything about it. I think some of the writers of this series were writers or producers of the show or had direct contact with the production staff of the show. They know their stuff about the characters and it brought them to life for me.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Battle of Knowhere

Nice intro to the Guardians of the Galaxy characters from the movie franchise. A quick and exciting read. I kind of wish it was a bit longer and covered the full story arc. I think the other books in the series continue the story line. I am a little tempted to keep it, in part because my copy is a little bent up.
Star Wars Rebels: Always Bet on Chopper

Cute quick read based on the Star Wars: Rebels cartoon series. Fun little story, pardon the pun but it is a bit choppy story wise. It is designed for beginning readers who aren't quite ready for a full story.
Meower Rangers

A cute parody (pawody?) of The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers using cats dressed up in costumes. It is fun but short and very choppy story wise. I originally thought of keeping this for myself, but I know I won't likely reread it ever.

Ghosty Men: The Strange but True Story of the Collyer Brothers, New York's Greatest Hoarders: An Urban Historical
It is publicised as being a rough biography of Homer and Langley Collyer, brothers who are often billed as being the first modern hoarders. Which in a way the book is, However the author adds in his own Uncles mostly his Uncle Arthur (who is pictured on the book cover.) The author wrote a previous books about his Uncles titled "Unstrung Heroes: My Improbable Life with Four Impossible Uncles" which he references a few times and tells about it having been made into a movie. As a result only half of the book is about The Collyer Brothers which is a little of a let down. It also can be a little confusing because an interesting story about a flea circus is from the author's childhood.
I enjoyed reading this book but in the end didn't learn much more about The Collyer Brothers than what is on Wikipedia about them.

An interesting read. There is a bit of history about the American Press and all the political ties throughout the years. I found it interesting that so many presidents (and some of their staff) had used or abused the media for various purposes.
Starting around the early 1980s I started noticing that the mainstream media especially newscasts were changing. At the time I didn't know what I was noticing, but in later years I realized it was shifting from unbiased reporting just the facts to adding personal opinion and speculation into the mix.
Now days there is too much speculation and opinion with very little of the facts. In part it is due to mainstream media leaning liberal left and in more recent years not bothering or caring to cover that up or balance things out.
