Okay Lynn and Sandra, so how do we want to do this?

I have already read it, so all I need to do is a quick "review" this weekend and I'm ready to go. :) I did feel as if Evanovich kinda got her mojo back with this installment.

I'm wondering about the name of her next book Fortune and Glory and why it is so different from her other's. I haven't yet tried to search out any information on it but I'm wondering if this will be the beginning of the end?

I'm also wondering why it is getting such low ratings when I couldn't find an ARC for it (not that it's not out there somewhere) and nobody has actually reviewed it!

It's not due to be released until November 10 of this year. Perhaps there is no ARC yet?

I did wonder about the title and this divergence from the numbers. It makes me expect something a bit different? IDK...

I felt as if Evanovich kinda got her flow going again with this one. The last 2-3 haven't been all that funny to me. Perhaps it is just me.

Perhaps it is just me."Exactly-Evonovich went back to Stephanie's Mafia roots and for these books that really works. It had everything the very first book in this series had and even more.

I have always felt as if this would destroy the series for me. IMHO, this is what makes it work so well...that tension of having both of these men in her life. I love it! :)

Do you get the feeling that time is stuck for them-that they will never age, the hamster and Grandma will never die or get any older and Stephanie will never have a car last more than a day or two?

Do you like the mini-cliff hangers that Evanovich is writing now? I do. I just wish she would write faster! lol.

I agree with everything you said, Dianne! Ah! Ranger! Yes, definitely "the tingles" for Ranger! He is so enigmatic and yet caring... I do believe these characters will never age. Nor do they need to. I think that is another aspect of this series that makes it pure escapism for me! :) And cliffhangers are always a good tool, in my opinion! :) As long as they are not over-used. :)

Lynn Thankyou for giving me this chance to have a fun discussion about an author I love. Maybe we can do this again when the next book comes out.
