This is March BOTM. This is the place where we will discuss what we like, love, hate, or despise.

Samiksha Bhattacharjee (samiksha23) | 38 comments I rlly liked 'one of us is lying', but (this is stupid) i picked up the book and thought...(after reading the blurb), 'what if simon commited suicide? That would be a nice murder'.

No comments after finishing it lol.

Kiley (gymnasticsbooksandcottoncandy) | 1209 comments Mod
No, just as long as you finish before March 31. Tho u don’t have to read it at all if you don’t want to

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

My other group I have voted for a book I don’t want to read and I really want to read this one.

Same here. My copy is coming in around the same time so I can't start right away

Abigael | A City Girl's Thoughts (acitygirlsthoughts) How is this going to go? Do we have to check in at a certain time to discuss? Are there specific q's we have to answer every week? Or do we wait until the end of March to discuss?

genevieve (bookedwithgen) I am currently reading it, its good but nothing, in my opinion, is really AMAZING about it. I'm looking at 3.5 stars now, maybe it will change once it starts to unravel.

We will check in once everyone who is reading it has finished so that there is no spoilers for people who are a little bit behind.

Let's hope it does Genevieve! I hope that you do enjoy it more as it goes on!

Pete I really did like this book. I liked the twist at the end.

Yashaa Bajracharya | 3 comments I've read this book and was certainly not expecting that at the end, I was suspecting Janae halfway through the book and once even Bronwyn's younger sister, lol. It was a pretty interesting read, tho.

(view spoiler)

Samiksha Bhattacharjee (samiksha23) | 38 comments Oh and if u liked this book try out two can keep a secret: Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M. McManus

Its by the same author and very good, a murder mysterey like one of us is lying

ikr...was slightly disappointed lol but other things - like the others involved with Simon - sort of topped it off

Overall, it was good tho. I liked 'Two can keep a secret' better tho. The ending was more unexpected.

Haven't read that yet, it's about Bronwyn's sister right?

Em theglitterybookworm_ | 1 comments Can we spoil in this chat?

I read this a couple years back and am going to try to read the sequel this month, but some of the stuff that bothered me is extreme spoilers.

I think there is a bunch at Barnes and Noble. There is probably a copy or two at your local library too

genevieve (bookedwithgen) Warning, if one of us is lying is your favorite book don't continue to read.

Okay, so I finished One of us is lying yesterday and am currently reading One of us is next. I did not like One of us is lying very much, I don't know if it was because I went into the book with very high expectations or something. If so, that was my fault, but in general, I thought the whole book was slightly boring, even when it started to unravel it was just slow and nothing made me go "Ohhhh myyyy goshhhh" you know? I didn't like the end very much either. I don't know what happened but I am reading the sequel and so far, it's better than the first.

Edit: Finished the sequel and thought I was much better than the first.

One of Us is Next is like really good, I almost like it better than One of Us is lying though
