The only language apart from English and Urdu I know is Arabic..and I dont know it perfectly!!lol
i have taken latin, french, and mandarin. i remember NO latin except carpe diem and i remember a little french and im still taking mandarin sooooo...ya

ha ha since we're talking about languages.... i took french for one year but remember nothing except bonjout and merci :D and i took spanish for 2 yrs, and now im taking french caz they dont have spansih in my new skool :'(oh and of curs, i kno english :P and urdu and some arabic

I think another lanugage besides english like 78% of the time and its really strange when I switch languages.

And I'm learning Spanish, French, German, and Hungarian.
o wow thats a lot! im not fluent in anything except english but i wish i was thatd be so cool to be able to fully think in 2 different languages!!
I'm not fluent in any of them! I can barely form sentences in German, and I don't even try to form sentences in Hungarian.

My moms German teacher said this to her class one day, "You are never going to be fluent in this language. To compeltly learn a language you have to grow up around it." I dont think all of what she said was true but I do think you need to expierence the culture and people of the particualr place for years until you completly know the language.
Someday I want to know lots of languages, and then use them to somehow confuse people.
Oh, my school only lets us take one at a time too! It's so annoying! I have to teach myself everything else. :P

My friend and I, who take Spanish, convinced 6 of our other friends, who do not take Spanish, that "Tu estás embarazadas" meant "You are embarrassing."They walked around calling each other pregnant for an hour before we told them.

one of my friends was asked what her grandmother was doing in spanish and she said smoking and the teacher thought she meant like drugs so she did thesse funny hand movements like, sucking something in and then shes like 'no, no,' and then between her fingers blowing and shes like 'i think u mean this, right?' lol

I did the same exact thing with my friends who take French!
no way!! LOL!! i wish i knew how to say that in chinese!!
It was pretty funny. We're going to have to pull something like that on them again sometime soon. XDHaha! My friend and I only knew that embarazadas does not equal embarrassing because my teacher, when he was taking Spanish, though it did. And he tried to tell his teacher he was embarrassed. Oops.
